A professor once asked me where I thought the most great ideas in history could be found. 

As if I would know.

I blanked.

Then, after a pause... 

*Cemeteries*, he said.

*Because thoughts are ephemeral. Like ghosts*—*insights, intuitions, revelations, subtle observations... emerge, expand, and disappear, only to vanish altogether, as if they were never there.*

*But the vast majority of *our* great ideas lay on the blank pages of our notebooks, the steam in our coffee vapours, or somewhere with a stranger, in the chaos of the future.*

This periodical is me sitting with my pen, paper, and coffee, somewhere in your past.

You're the stranger.
